SCOTT COUNTY, Iowa. (KWQC) — Lesley Krebs was arrested around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night and is charged with tampering with records and prohibited acts in the first offense.

Her arrest record with the Scott County Jail confirms the charges and shows her bond is set for ten thousand dollars.

It also shows the prohibited acts charge involves controlled drugs.

Court records show these are the first charges facing Krebs.

She was arrested in 2006 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

Krebs pleaded guilty to her charges then paid a fine and the case was dismissed.

Now ten years later, Krebs is a registered nurse working at the Bettendorf Health Care Center where she cares for elderly patients.

Medicaid Fraud Control began an investigation into Krebs and turned their findings over to the Scott County Attorney’s Office.

From there a warrant went out for her arrest.

Bettendorf Health Care Center’s VP HR confirmed Krebs was an employee and Medicaid Fraud Control did conduct and investigation.

The Scott County Attorney’s Office confirms they are handling the case and said she will have a preliminary hearing on July 1, 2016.
